Four Features of a Good Letter of Apology:

  1. Sincerity – The apology should be genuine and heartfelt, avoiding vague or insincere language.
  2. Acknowledgment of Mistake – Clearly state what went wrong and accept responsibility without making excuses.
  3. Brief Explanation (if necessary) – Provide a concise reason for the mistake (if applicable) without justifying it.
  4. Polite and Respectful Tone – Use courteous language and avoid sounding defensive or arrogant.
